Writing at Home

My routine is a bit of a mess these days. That probably doesn’t surprise anyone because it’s the same for all of us. Someone may read this post sometime in the future and wonder why our routines have been disrupted. Here’s the answer–COVID-19.

It’s incredible to me how quickly our world can change. At the beginning of December, Coronavirus was something that happened somewhere else. Now, it’s almost the only thing people are talking about. I hope I can look back at this time in my personal history and be proud of how I helped others remain calm rather than add to the panic.

What does this have to do with writing? First of all, I’m grateful that I have a home where I can write. I’ve got shelter, I’ve got food, and I’ve got a great support system. Secondly, writing can encourage people, and let them enter other worlds, make new friends without having to worry about social distancing.

I hope that my books will help encourage people as they read about friendships, loyalty, adventure, and fantasy. My books are great for kids to read, great for adults to read, and great for adults to read to kids.

I’ll keep working on Reunite-Dragonborn Book Three and will hope the Coronavirus fears have passed.

Protect the Weak.
