We deal with so much gloom and doom in our lives that it's a real pleasure to read a fantasy that is upbeat and engaging. Alister and the other characters are wonderful role models for kids these days. The story is fun and I was happy to discover the book was just as entertaining for adults as I believe it is for kids. Highly recommended.
